The Flag Of Canada

The Maple Leaf is used in Canada's flag because when people first came to Canada they realized the food properties of maple sap, and the maple leaf became a Canadian symbol.
The Red and White in the Canadian flag came from the 1st crusade when a Norman Lord had red crosses cut out for the crusaders, and France used a red cross and England used a white cross. Then King George V declared red and white the National colors of Canada in 1921.
